About This Safari

Experience the Serengeti’s drama on our 4–5-day Plains Safari. Venture into the heart of the park’s golden grasslands to witness the seasonal Great Wildebeest Migration—over a million wildebeest, plus zebras and gazelles—across the plains. Enjoy dawn and dusk game drives in an open 4×4 in search of lions, cheetahs, and more at prime watering holes. You can also add a day trip to the Ngorongoro Crater. For a memorable finale, opt for a sunrise hot-air balloon flight (weather permitting), complete with a champagne breakfast on landing.

Your Journey

Day 1

Arrival in the Central Serengeti

Travel by light aircraft or 4×4 from Arusha to the heart of the Serengeti. After settling into your lodge or tented camp, embark on an afternoon game drive across the vast grasslands. As the sun sets, return for dinner under the stars and an overnight stay in camp.

Day 2

Full-Day Serengeti Exploration

Spend dawn to dusk on game drives in search of lions, cheetahs, and other wildlife stalking across the plains. Optional: Begin the day with a sunrise hot-air balloon ride for breathtaking aerial views, followed by a champagne breakfast on landing.

Day 3

Serengeti Morning & Transfer to Ngorongoro

Enjoy one last morning game drive in the Serengeti before heading to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Arrive at your rim-side lodge in time for dinner and panoramic sunset views over the crater.

Day 4

Ngorongoro Crater Tour & Return to Arusha

Descend into the Ngorongoro Crater for a full-day wildlife safari, complete with a picnic lunch beside hippo-filled swamps. Afterward, journey back to Arusha, arriving in the early evening.
